Hello, There....

Here we are at the end of 2011 and I decided to finally take a leap and put my little home out in the world. 2011 was the year I was suppose to begin the process of searching out what I love. While teaching is still on my mind, I have also found great joy in creating a little home.

I suppose, I could call this blog my New Year's Resolution, although it has been several months in the making. Over the last couple of years, I have found the creation of art and craft (from gifts to home even to projects done by the kiddos in the classroom) to be a peaceful and lovely part of my life. I just feel happy when I create. So, I am using this space to share my projects. I will use it to record what I have done (or sometimes just tried to do) and as a reminder to resist laziness and keep creating. 

Living here in San Diego keeps me far away from some of my loved ones and so now they can see what I try to awkwardly describe over the phone.... 

So, happy 2012 and welcome to my little dwelling place in the Hinterland.
